Since then she has dedicated her life to her own growth and how to support that of others. In 2001 Fiona began working with various bodywork modalities to guide and aid people through their journey of life.

Fiona now works with women along their personal journey of life – menstruation, fertility, pregnancy, birth, menopause and beyond.  She recognises these major Rites of Passage of women, and how these impact our Being and health.   With guidance from Fiona about which modality is appropriate, clients often come through a serious of appointments supporting their healing journey  and aiding them towards greater health and awareness of their body and Self.   Fiona feels that the pelvis is a powerhouse of  wisdom, and accessing this personal knowledge is an empowering and self affirming experience.

Each client presents their own unique needs so Fiona’s approach is to bring to bear the techniques that will help each person unlock their patterns and reconnect to their own source of energy.

Fiona thoroughly enjoys sharing and spreading her work to women in need.  As well as her own practices in Adelaide she has also worked in London and Thailand.  Fiona also holds both private and public Womens Circles in the Moon Lodge. on her land.

Kacie Walker

Kacie is a Qualified Kahuna Bodywork practitioner as well as an  Advanced Pregnancy Massage Therapist and Therapeutic Massage Therapist.

Studying here in Adelaide at the South Australian Health and Education Centre she gained necessary tools to begin working with people and the body. In 2009 after receiving a Kahuna Bodywork she began her training at the Australian College of Kahuna Sciences in NSW. Here she obtained a Certificate IV and discovered a modality that not only empowered her but also her clients.  Kacie recently completed her training in Advanced Pregnancy massage in VIC.  This means she has the skills to support women in all stages of pregnancy and labor, and post natally once their baby is born.  At this stage she is focussing her skills on pregnancy and post natal massage, and is open for advice with labor and delivery massage options.

Kacie is committed to ongoing training and self development.  Kacie believes that we have the capacity to lift each other up and reflect the beauty of who we are through what we do. Her journey has taken her to New Zealand to live in community where she practiced meditation daily with a spiritual teacher.

More recently she travelled to Nepal where she joined a group of women contributing to a community program for women, sharing knowledge in their fields of health and art. When she in not working she enjoys tending to a home garden and spending time by the ocean. Kacie feels that connecting to who we are in essence through the body to be an imperative part of life. She has found Kahuna Bodywork to be a means in which this connection with Self; our essential nature is made.  She now enjoys extending her connection skills to include mother and baby,  as she is fulfilled supporting women and their growing bodies with pregnancy and post natal massage.

Amnys Darbyshire

Amnys has nearly 15 years as a remedial massage therapist and 6 years teaching yoga. She has her Diploma in Remedial Massage as well as having trained in Chi Nei Tsang (Taoist abdominal massage), Ku Nye (Tibetan massage) and  manual lymphatic drainage. In 2018 she gained accreditation in Fertility Massage, which she loves! Amnys draws on her years of experience in bodywork using a variety of therapies that attend to both the physical and the energetic systems of the body.

Amnys started yoga in her early 20’s, learning The Five Tibetan’s Yoga. She also studied various forms of Qi gong, and meditation.  These studies lead her to become interested in longevity and encouraging this for others.

In 2012 Amnys completed her Yoga Teacher Training with Kate Pell in Bowral, NSW.  She continued working under Kate’s mentorship for the next 3 years before moving to Adelaide 2016.

Amnys’ keen interested in the healing therapies of ancient cultures lead her to Egypt where she discovered the feminine power of the ancient civilisation and was lead further to Peru to study Women’s Mysteries with Jane Hardwicke Collings. Ancient cultures hold great wisdoms, and with these teachings she understands that the world is a Divine place. We are so much more than just the physical if you have the eyes to see and the ears to listen.

The driving force through out all of her studies and travels, is self knowledge and self care.  Amnys believes that we all have the ability to listen to the body and we can all have the tools with in our own hands to be able to care for our selves. Self care is profound and empowering for everyone. Amnys loves working with women, teaching them self care and assisting them on their journey to being wise, well and strong.

It is her intention to encourage and inspire others to practice self care, to bring joy to peoples hearts, and to help to make a positive change in the world.  Amnys also has experience is Mayan Abdominal Therapy and combines these skills in all her appointments.
